Art Education

The degree programme:

• Has two specialisation options:
  • “Teaching qualification for upper secondary level”, graduating with a teaching diploma for Matura schools in the subject area of visual design.
  • “Art and cultural mediation”, training for freelance mediation work.

The final decision relating to the specialisation is made after an individual placement interview in the second semester.

• combines creative, artistic, art-historical, curatorial and mediation skills.
• enables you to set your own additional specialisation in art mediation, media mediation or transdisciplinarity.
• offers the opportunity to do research work in preparation for a possible doctoral programme.
