Mechanical Engineering

With a BSc in mechanical engineering, you will develop machines and systems for sustainable, economic processes and manufacturing new products.

During the degree programme, you will

  • acquire relevant knowledge in engineering and natural sciences;

  • explore the interplay of mechanics, electronics and IT; 

  • select from one of the following specialisations: product development, digitisation in mechanical engineering or process optimisation;

  • gain insights into everyday practice by completing various projects and your bachelor’s thesis in cooperation with industry partners;

  • gain the ability to solve engineering puzzles on your own;

  • benefit from our programme’s modern infrastructure and laboratories featuring laser, printing and performance technologies.
