Healthcare Design in an Era of Digital Transformation SINTA Lecture and Workshop

Dr Nirit Pilosof explains how Digital Twins technologies can be used to manage the growing complexity of health care systems, and provide care across the built environment.

09.01.2024 until 10.01.2024 – Uni S, Schanzeneckstrasse 1, 3012 Bern

A woman talks through a window to another woman wearing a protective suit. The intensive care unit of a hospital can be seen in the background.

The global healthcare industry is undergoing digital transformation. Innovation in medical devices, robotics, AI systems, telemedicine, and remote technologies, have led to new models of care treatment and health promotion, aimed at providing predictive, preventive, precise, and personalized care. But what are the implications for the design of healthcare systems? How should we plan for future change?
