Musikperformance (45’)

Que signifie sonner? Résonner? Qu’est ce qu’un son? Un bruit? Une vibration?  
Comment ces sons et vibrations interagissent et vivent au travers de corps résonnants, le nôtre mais également n’importe quel matériaux pouvant être mis en résonance. Une exploration de sensation, de sens, de toucher. Ces questions sont le départ de ce projet, une expérience sonore et visuelle au travers de l’utilisation de corps résonnants. Cette commission se compose d’une pièce en trois actes en collaboration avec les compositrices et artistes Charlotte Torres et Sabeth Louise Weibel. Elles jouent avec la musique, les sons mais aussi avec un message critique féministe de la société antérieure et actuelle.

Partizipative Installation

Eine Frittenbude, welche ausschliesslich aus Abfall- Material hergestellt und betrieben wird. Mit sogenanntem «Sortierabfall» eines Grossverteilers werden kleine Portionen Pommes-Frites zubereitet, die an das Publikum verschenkt werden. Dabei rüsten und schneiden die Konsument*innen ihre Pommes-Frites selbst.

Multimedia Installation

Who speaks? Who answers? Who listens? Who stays silent? Communication is meant to be the basis of all relationships. The audiovisual performance dia[log] explores the phenomena of translation and isolation. The signals of improvised music and generated visuals enter into a dialogue and influence each other.

The encounter of visual and auditory sensory stimuli creates an expanded space of perception, like the metamorphosis of two- to three-dimensional objects. For the harmony of the auditory and visual to go hand in hand, the synergy of both art forms is needed.

Audiovisual Concert (30’)

AVX-2 is an interdisciplinary project that combines different fields of art. The audiovisual experience contrasts with the sounds and images known from traditional musical performances and has nothing to do with the software and hardware usually used in electronic music. The concert allows the audience to approach the music from all sides and observe the unique instruments in combination with the light installation. This creates a contrast between the dynamic sphere of sound and image and the more static topography.

Performative Installation (45’)

NeuroDrive is a concert-length composition that will be realized through a collective initiative at Kulturesk Festival. Inspired by the architecture of Grosse Halle, the project aims to capitalize on the unique features of the venue. Paired with vibrant lighting, it offers an impressive venue that gives off apocalyptic, sci fi, cyberpunk, street art vibes. The purpose of this project is to conceptualize Grosse Halle with all of its unique graffiti through an ensemble of musicians and live electronics within an octophonic speaker setup, projected visuals on the walls of Reitschule and lighting design within a 45 minute audiovisual performance.

Au cœur de la nuit, au milieu de la forêt, aux premières lueurs de l’aube ou encore au fil des eaux d‘une rivière sinueuse, s‘inscrit l’atmosphère dans laquelle prennent place les cinq tournages vidéo, présentés par Salomé Victoria Brawand et Mia Exartier. 
Leur série de films offre une immersion captivante dans l‘univers de cinq créatures mythologiques féminines, héritées des riches cultures basque, polonaise et suisse. A travers cette œuvre, les réalisatrices mettent en lumière leurs racines, leurs inspirations et leurs origines respectives.
 

Schauspiel (30’)

Wie ziehen wir ein Schiff über einen Berg, mitten im Dschungel? Eine metaphorische Frage, mit der sich das Projekt aufmacht, unsere Leidenschaft und Hingabe als Kunstschaffende auf den Prüfstand zu stellen. Wie weit sind wir wirklich bereit zu gehen?
Zwei Vulkanologen, ein Skiflieger, zwei Skater und ein Kunstflug-Unglück. Das Werk des Filmemachers Werner Herzog bietet dutzende Paradebeispiele für die Bedingungslosigkeit von extremen Charakteren. Und mögliche Antworten auf die Frage: Existieren die besagten Regeln der Kunst, Methoden der Schöpfung?

Horror Opera Techno

Horror Opera Techno (H.O.T.) is a performance exploring distortedness, hesitation, and feeling weird, navigating the space of its title words, rather than conforming to a rigid form. Inspired by Timothy Morton’s philosophy All Art is Ecological, which envisions an ecological society that welcomes haphazardness, brokenness, irony, and a range of not-nice emotions. The need to be in an ambiguous space. A world of seduction and repulsion rather than authority. Of truthiness rather than rigid true versus rigid false.
The performance embodies a rejection of efficiency, embracing hybridizations and acceptance of the strange.
 

Audiovisuelle Performance

The project is an audiovisual performance that immerses the audience in the world of the writer’s thoughts. The texts and lyrical words are complemented by light projections and visuals that flow into each other before the eyes of the visitors. Visitors are invited to listen, discover, observe and let their thoughts run wild and free. Comfortable cushions make it possible to completely surrender to the experience and let go.
 

Music Theater (60')

Swangate, a gathering about bird calls and animatronics is an experience in which the audience is invited to follow us into a fictional universe full of conspiracy theories, dealing with the hypothesis that artificial intelligence has already taken over the world in the form of robotic birds and sound is the only way to communicate with them. As the scene of a ritualistic, ornithological gathering, the classical theater stage transforms into a place of togetherness, of exchanging knowledge, where boundaries between the real and the fake start to blur into each other. Should we follow the path of those who say they hold the truth? Who has the compass that governs our lives?

Music, Movement and Visual Aesthetics (25')

IONISATION combines music, movement and visual aesthetics, as a way to enter inside an atomic society. Based on Edgard Varèse's composition, the performers participate in a visual interpretation of the musical elements, exploring the interaction between body and music, and mirroring atomic particles' behavior. Individuals are both unique and part of a collective group. Together, they generate fusion, stability, excitement, cohesion and reaction.
