Le trio combine l'improvisation et le matériel écrit, ce qui se matérialise en une intense énergie et des structures sonores instables. C'est une conversation à trois voix égales qui n'offre pas de solutions simples mais invite à explorer l'inconnu.

Have you ever experienced missing someone really strongly? An absence that you thought was so important in your life. In that sad moment reading words that reflect your discomfort becomes a sort of relief. Usually you don't give much importance to the text of a poem or a song until you realize that those words reflect your pain. So that melody seems to embrace you like a big hug touching your heart strings. So, from this sad experience I found a great comfort stronger than ever.

In this room, you are a determined organism. Every thought you’ve ever had, every action you took, orchestrated by chemical reactions and electrical signals, guided by natural laws. This deterministic setting might absolve you of your faults and mistakes. However, it does nothing to ease the existential pain stemming from the cyclical, destructive paths you’ve taken. Despite the cause of such outcomes, you want to move on, but you’re trapped in quicksand. How can you face the future if your desperate efforts lead to a deeper entrenchment?
Yet, in this room, hope must remain – the only remedy against your otherwise certain submergence. In irrational abundance, it just might match the absurdity of life itself.

TIME

Zeit ist ja so eine Sache. Je grösser die Uhr, desto mehr Minuten, richtig? Die Musik des Eddy Sonnenschein Quartetts ist niemals beendet. Das Stück hat gerade angefangen, das wissen wir, aber wir wissen auch: wir sind schon lange drin. Nichts steht fest, und doch ist alles da, wo es sein soll. Unaufdringlich, hell, wie Morgentau, und doch der Tag schon alt und weise. Die Musik muss nichts beweisen, soll nichts beweisen müssen. Sie existiert aus sich selbst heraus. Alles ist gleichwichtig: Seien das die fulminanten Solopassagen oder die Luftgeräusche des Flügelhorns, oder das Geräusch des Piano-Pedals. Zeitgenössischer Jazz, bei dem die Musik nicht da aufhört, wo die Töne enden. Sondern alles ist Musik: das Einatmen, das Hören, das Fühlen. Und nicht weil diese dazu gemacht wird, sondern weil alles schon Musik ist, und immer war, und die vier Musiker das mit Demut zum bereits Bestehenden erkennen.

The Waves 

Between the gentle rocking of the surf and the plaintive whistling of the swell, Flo and the Murmurs transpose the great expanses of the ocean into an intimate, skin-deep universe. Carried by a voice and the sensory fabric of a string quartet, the instruments are intricately woven with words, taking on a narrative voice of their own. The resulting songs feature meandering melodies set against textures that recall the rhythm of the waves.

MAKO-Choir

Musik verbindet, vor allem das gemeinsame Singen. Dieses Projekt verbindet Musik, Stimme und Gemeinschaft. Die repetitive und geerdete Musik, komponiert und arrangiert von Livia Lockridge, bietet die Grundlage dieses Projekts. Mehrstimmigkeit und Repetitive Muster (Loops) sind ein essenzieller Teil ihres Musikalischen Ausdrucks, was sich bei ihr vor allem beim Komponieren zeigt, wenn sie ihre eigene Stimme übereinanderschichtet und in einem Loop abspielt. Da sie diese Mehrstimmigkeit live nicht allein ohne elektronische Hilfsmittel wie zum Beispiel eine Loopstation kreieren kann, kam die Idee, einen Chor zusammen zu stellen. Insgesamt finden sich nun 22 Stimmen zusammen, um die geschriebenen Noten und Gefühle zum Leben zu erwecken.

Cello Grooves

Cello has been an underdog (or should i say an underinstrument...) in the realms of popular music for too long; it's time to break out!!! Who has heard a cello leading a power trio? This trio, with influences of hip hop, jazz, and reggae, will transport the audience to groovy territories. The cello serves as bass, harmony, and melody all at once, accompanied by a rhythm section that will switch between expected and unexpected instruments. Get ready to dance! That's all I have to say!

W. G. Unruh postulated in 1976 that, from the point of view of an accelerating observer, the vacuum
of empty space contains particles that are at a temperature relative to the observer's acceleration. Half
a century later, unrooh embarks on a quest to translate this phenomenon into the acoustic realm.
Seeking to challenge predefined expectations of perception, the three musicians find themselves on a
three-way intersection between song, groove and free improvisation.

As the first swiss banjo player in to pursue Jazz education and receive his bachelor's degree from HKB, Youssry Taha returns with a fresh new project paying homage to the music of his upbringing. Youssry has made a name for himself as an innovative electric banjo player, frequently mixing genres from Hip-Hop, to Arabic and electronic music. With "Acoustic Roots", he explores intricacies of acoustic playing, the subtle dynamic changes and timbre possibilities only heard with a fully acoustic band.

Konzert für 1 oder 2 Gitarren

Du könntest auch die Holzmaserungslinien einer Gitarre nehmen (abpausen) und die Kurven gemäss Sinuskurven (Schwingungen) zu Tönen umwandeln.
Oder aus dem Steg Stöckelschuhe basteln und damit rumstöckeln.
Oder eine Gitarre teileweise schreddern und in den Resonanzraum der ganzen Gitarre füllen und jedes Mal was spielen, bis eine Gitarre die andere verschluckt hat.
Oder du spannst die Saiten vom Steg weiter über einen Bettlattenrost, und sagst, du kannst nun Gitarre spielen wie im Schlaf, legst dich aufs Bett und je nachdem wie du liegst, erzeugst du via lange Saiten Töne.

In Fallow

In Fallow est un groupe de post rock / folk franco-suisse formé en 2019 à Lausanne. Après une pause musicale, ses 4 membres fondent In Fallow avec l’idée de composer spontanément, sans jugement, une musique nouvelle et propre à soi, à la manière d’un champ laissé en jachère (« fallow field ») et sur lequel peut croître à nouveau une flore pleine de richesses. Leur premier opus « / Fallow » entremêle chansons, riffs et intermèdes acoustiques, en piochant allègrement dans des influences post rock, math rock et folk (American Football, Totorro, Adrianne Lenker).

Avec une musique aussi planante que mouvementée, vivez l’adaptation musicale du célèbre roman d’Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

Jonathan Goetz Large Ensemble

Im Rahmen seines Masterkonzerts präsentiert der Saxophonist Jonathan Goetz sein erstes Big Band-Set. Fasziniert von den klanglichen Möglichkeiten dieser Besetzung vereint er in seinen Kompositionen Einflüsse aus Big Band-Jazz und klassischer Musik des 20. Jahrhunderts und verarbeitet musikalische Eindrücke, die er während seines Studiums an der Hochschule der Künste Bern gewonnen hat.
